Action Learning Set for aspiring leaders
Our six month Action Learning Set will help you take the next step on your leadership journey.
What is it?
An Action Learning Set (ALS) is a structured format of peer support with a facilitator, which takes place at regular intervals with the same people attending each time. The purpose of the ALS is to focus on work challenges and learn from the process. Members present and explore live work issues in turn with support from other members in a facilitated and safe environment. The emphasis is on action and reflection.
Each in-person session is 2.5 hours long. Set members are expected to attend every one of the seven sessions, i.e. the introduction session and 6 monthly sets.
How will it help me?
-
Develop your confidence and resilience as a leader
-
Explore and find a way forward with an issue
-
Learn to ask the right questions rather than offer advice or a quick fix
Testimonials from previous ALS participants:

“This is the first block of time I’ve actively protected for myself month by month – the value is huge.”
“My relationship with my board is completely different – this has changed my outlook.”
