We have four affordable hot-desking spaces and two meeting rooms at our office in central Brighton for hire to members (at discounted rates) as well as non-members from third sector organisations. We’ve also negotiated discounts and listed some local community space for you and your group. Scroll down to find the perfect space for you and your organisation.
Community Works hot-desking spaces
You can rent hot-desking space at our central Brighton offices within Community Base. We have 4 individual hot-desking spaces, available daily, weekly or monthly. Community Base is the home of over 40 not-for-profit organisations, the hot-desking spaces provide a flexible working space where you can connect with other not-for-profit organisations.

Non-member prices:
- Hourly – £5
Member prices:
- Half day (3.5 hours) – £10
- Full day (6.5 hours – 10am-4.30pm) – £15
- Week (Monday to Thursday, 10am-4.30pm) – £40
- Month (Monday to Thursday, 10am-4.30pm – £150
Hot-desking space benefits

- Each hot-desking space is equipped with a monitor, keyboard, Wi-Fi and use of printer – all you need is your laptop!

- Use of two meeting rooms (see below) housed within the office space itself (at an extra cost)
- Use of Community Base’s reception desk and waiting area
Our hot-desking spaces are set within an open-plan working space. If you do require privacy or wish to hold a meeting, we have meeting rooms available for hire (see below).

Community Works meeting rooms
We have two fantastic, recently refurbished meeting rooms to hire. Set within our Community Works offices in central Brighton, our two meeting rooms offer affordable, high-quality spaces for your meetings.
Prices
- Large meeting room – (recommended for up to 12 people) £10 per hour
- Small meeting room (ideal for two people) – £5 per hour

- Large meeting room equipped with a wall mounted smart screen, Wi-Fi, flipchart and paper, large boardroom style table and chairs and sea views!
- Small meeting room equipped with Wi-Fi, two armchairs, coffee table and a desk and office chair
- Use of Community Base’s reception desk and waiting area
- Access to fully accessibly toilets
- Kitchen with tea-making facilities

Free meetings rooms & discounted co-working spaces
Ansvar Community Hub in Circus Street, Brighton. Free meeting room for up to 10 people, four desks, a table and chairs (also seating four) and a small kitchen. Can be booked separately or together from 9.00am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday.
Community Base has three high quality and extremely affordable meeting rooms in the heart of Brighton, available for hire between 7am and 10pm, seven days a week. Rates are discounted for Community Base tenants and non profit organisations, with prices from £12 per hour for a 12 person meeting room.

Community Works have a limited amount of hours of free meeting space via Freedom Works at Stoke Abbott Road, and via Adur & Worthing Councils at Worthing Town Hall and the Shoreham Centre.
